I'm the founder and owner of a retirement planning & investment management firm. I'm also the founder and owner of a tax return preparation company. Prior to starting these businesses, I spent 19 years in institutional capital markets financing and risk management at multiple global investment banks and a major U.S. insurance company. I've also been an adjunct professor of finance for the finance department of Rutgers Business School. Additionally, I'm a coach in the retirement planning membership group, Rock Retirement Club, and a member of the advisory board of the Financial Planning & Wealth Management program at the University of Delaware
I live in Edison, NJ with my wife and two daughters. Outside of the office, you'll likely find me riding my bike (I'm a road cyclist; mountain biking scares me), woodworking or listening to music that has banjos and mandolins. I'm also passionate about educating and sharing, particularly with regards to retirement-related finance and tax matters, hence the reason for Retirement Planning Education!
I was a contestant on HGTV's second season of All American Handyman (aired Fall 2011), where I came in fourth place out of 20 people. I also dabbled in stand-up comedy and performed a few times at Caroline's on Broadway and Gotham comedy clubs in NYC
