I'm the founder and owner of a fee-only retirement planning & investment management firm. I'm also the founder and owner of a tax return preparation company. Prior to starting these businesses, I spent 19 years in institutional capital markets and risk management at multiple global investment banks and a major U.S. insurance company. I'm also an adjunct professor of finance at a major university
I obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from the University of Delaware, and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from Rutgers Business School
I live in Edison, NJ with my wife and two daughters. Outside of the office, you'll likely find me riding my bike (I'm a road cyclist), woodworking or listening to music that has banjos and mandolins. I'm also passionate about educating and sharing, particularly with regards to retirement-related finance and tax matters, hence the reason for Retirement Planning Education!
I was a contestant on HGTV's second season of All American Handyman (aired Fall 2011), where I came in fourth place out of 20 people. I also dabbled in stand-up comedy and performed a few times at Caroline's on Broadway and Gotham comedy clubs in NYC
